Brick Bear Paths

Make your mark and create a legacy at Missouri State University with a Bear Paths brick.

Don't miss your opportunity to make your mark!

Messages of gratitude, honor and love inscribe the bricks of the Plaster Student Union Brick Bear Paths. These messages were relocated from the Brick Dedication Patio to the front of the Robert W. Plaster Student Union in the newly designed Bear Paths for more patrons of the Union to view, as well as allow for continued growth of the popular recognition program. The first installation of the Bear Paths was completed by Spring 2005 commencement.

Participants of this unique program are provided up to three lines, each with fourteen characters, to be engraved on a granite brick honoring graduates, teachers, friends or special milestones.

Current messages from alumni, faculty and staff members, university organizations and departments and friends of the university pay tribute to the university or someone special. Ongoing efforts of the program invite parents of graduating seniors to reserve a brick through contact by student callers with the Phone Campaign.

Everyone is welcome to add to the journey of the Bear Paths through a gift of $125.  Honor a graduate, alumnus, your favorite professor or celebrate a special occasion – it's your choice!

If you are interested in reserving a brick, please complete the Brick Reservation form in pdf or Word format, and mail or fax to the Annual Funds Office. To make your gift of $125 online with your credit card see Bear Paths Brick Fund.

A minimum gift of $125 will secure your participation in the next installation planned May of each year and enable you to recognize or honor someone with an inscribed brick in the prominent Bear Paths. We hope you choose to make your mark and create a legacy at Missouri State University.

If you need additional information or if you have questions about the brick campaign, please contact the Missouri State University Foundation at (417) 836-4143.
